Velo’s revenue will come from Sapphire sales to service bureaus/contract manufacturers (CMs) servicing production of OEMs parts manufactured on Sapphire within the Oil & Gas segment. In pursuit of this goal, you will apply Velo3D consultative part impact validation processes to solve OEM’s critical metal part problems (poor quality, long lead time, high costs, etc.) by proving Sapphire additive manufacturing benefits over current production using traditional manufacturing methods. You will lead the process to build compelling business cases for parts with significant annual volume of $500,000 per year or more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the expert on Oil & Gas systems/part applications suitable for additive manufacturing (critical requirements, product families and systems and missions) and their manufacturing process. Understand the technical challenges OEMs typically have with their variety of parts/part families to guide them through part discovery to selected parts that will provide business benefit from transition to production on Sapphire.
